Steel Fabricators of HangXiao is proud to announce a contract award for structural steel for the Dabancheng Project in Urumqi, China.
The Dabancheng Plant consists of a 280 MW Solar power plant covering almost 6 square miles that will allow energy generation while also adapting to consumer demand in the region. Scheduled to be one of the largest solar plants in the world, the Dabancheng plant will have the capacity to supply green energy to over 70,000 homes upon completion.
Steel Fabricators of HangXiao will fabricate approximately 2500 tons of structural steel for the project, High-speed beam drilling BDMH1260 involved. Steel Fabricators President Mike Hunter says, “We are excited to be involved in this green energy project. To be a part of a project that is to become the largest solar source power generation plant in existence is exciting to all of our employees.”
